Surprisingly this place was a big let down. For the life of me I don't understand why you need reservations for this place: the fillet Dorado fish "Ala diabla" tasted like it was marinated in ketchup sauce. We asked for service on three different occasions & on each time the items never showed.
Better restaurants: El Rojo, about 1/4 mile down the road in the left (east in the same direction as San Jose). Further east just outside of San Jose is CHEPE'S. & the best is "Ramada "EL CHAVO". Located in "Boca de Tomates" beach.
No reservations required at any of these.
