Parece que fue ayer cuando empezamos a bajar el último tramo de la Sierra Mazateca para encontrarnos, primero con la "Cueva del Diablo" y luego con la "Puerta del Cielo", antes de llegar al "Paraíso de la Chinantla". ? La sensación era espectacular! Por primera vez pisábamos esta tierra que ha sido cuidada y cultivada por la cultura chinanteca. Sus hermosos bordados, su riquísimo caldo de piedra, las majestuosas aguas de su río, esas ancestrales y negras trenzas, el verdor de su tierra y los paisajes en el camino hicieron de esta una experiencia única ? Ubicada en el corazón de la Chinantla, a San Felipe Usila se llega a través de la carretera Tuxtepec-Huautla de Jiménez, luego de desviarse a la izquierda pasando Jalapa de Díaz. Flor Batavia, Cerro Verde, Arroyo Tambor, Paso Escalera y Arroyo Aguacate son solo algunas comunidades que nos escoltan en el camino antes de llegar a la entrada espectacular (entre árboles) de Usila. En el Restaurant nos atendieron de maravilla, probamos un rico caldo de piedra, tortillas a mano y la respectiva coca cola a la orilla del rio, sus precios son razonables y el sabor exquisito ? Its beautiful embroidery, its rich stone broth, the majestic waters of its river, those ancient and black braids, the greenery of its land and the landscapes on the way made this a unique experience ? Located in the heart of Chinantla, San Felipe Usila is reached through the Tuxtepec-Huautla de Jiménez highway, after turning left passing Jalapa de Díaz. Flor Batavia, Cerro Verde, Arroyo Tambor, Paso Escalera and Arroyo Aguacate are just a few communities that escort us along the way before reaching the spectacular entrance (between trees) of Usila. In the Restaurant they treated us wonderfully, we tried a rich stone broth, handmade tortillas and the respective coca cola on the riverbank, their prices are reasonable and the taste is exquisite ?
