★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is realllly nice. The water wasnt very clear but it was clear enough to look awesome. It cost $3pp for us to get in. Bring your own snorkle equipment if you want quality stuff. Food was really great. Luckily our taxi driver translated the menu for us. It was mostly all seafood, some check and some beef stuff.
WiFi pw was the same as the name of the WiFi name with no space and all lower case.
While in Costa maya on a cruise we wanted to something a bit out of town. It took about an hour and half to get there with our taxi going about 110 kmph the whole way. (Make sure they have a nice car with nice seats, ass hurts after that trip). Taxi charged us $140 which was a huge rip off but our negotiations are a bit weak. When you pass by some of the houses, it doesn't hurt so bad as you can see they could use the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I read many reviews calling this place dirty and old and generally berating . So happy I tried it any way . In the morning the water was clear and warm . Very nice place to relax .Food was good . Be careful with the plastic chairs some are cracked . Easy taxi ride from central Bacalar

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was very delicious and the place was very beautiful. A little pricey for Mexico, but it is worth it, especially if you are planning on swimming in the cenote. Extra charge of $25 pesos even if you are not going to get in to swim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I give them 4 stars because The service is wonderful! They went out of there way to even serve us drinks as we swam in cenote azul.... which is INCREDIBLE! I’ve noticed some reviews that say the food is not great and that you are “forced” to eat there as if you are duped into it . It’s part of the Cenote entry but you do not have to do anything but be happy and enjoy yourself. We had French fries, guacamole and drinks and they were all just fine! Go to cenote azul!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were on a 5day cruise to Costa Maya and stopped for lunch and a swim at the Cenote Azul near the Bacalar Laguna. This meal was by far the best meal I had on the whole trip. Ceviche was amazing and everything everyone ordered was fantastic. This place made a great day even more incredible. And the swim was also awesome.
