Spent a week in Zihua, and experienced great food the whole time, but El Garrobo was the best. Ended up eating there twice because it was so good. Warm and friendly staff, and great food. Best ceviche in town. The Margaritas are excellent-they may look small, but pack a real punch. I highly recommend this place for a pleasant and delicious dining experience.

We walked by Garrobos one night, there was no one in there. We had read the reviews which were all good, but Covid has seriously hurt business. We decided to have dinner regardless of being the only ones, and are we glad we did! The food was delicious. My favorite dish was the baby squid with garlic and ajilio peppers. Flavors were to die for. The whole fish veracruz was also very good. Flan was perfectly cooked and drinks were good too. All this for a very reasonable price. Go to Garrobos. Regardless if it's full or empty, your dinner will be delicious.

Hands down best tampiquenia in zihua. Everything on menu is very good and prices are moderate. Must try colamilla style ceviche, huachinango, tampequenia, camarones diabla. Full linens service. Great waiter. If you haven't been here yet you are missing one of the best mexican restaurants in zihua.

Garrobos was a great experience that my daughter and myself had the opportunity to share. The food is the best, we went two days in a row after savoring a fantastic paella that rivals anyone that I had in the world. Service is warm and friendly and We are very thankful for all their attention!!!! Great Job and I would recommend them to anyone!!!!

This is my 3rd time at this restaurant and each visit has earned 5 stars for the service and quality of food. Eloin was our server this time and he was extremely friendly and efficient. I requested a vegan plate, which wasn’t on the menu but which they happily prepared and it was delicious! My boyfriend ordered a seafood dish and was also extremely happy. The 2 for 1 margaritas were also a bonus. Can’t recommend this place enough and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!

This was one of the best restaurant experiences I've ever had, and I've been fortunate enough to eat at some great restaurants all over the world. After catching a sailfish one morning, my girlfriend and I brought a large filet of the fish to the closest restaurant we could find near the pier which happened to be Garrobo's. We really weren't expecting much more than someone to simply grill or fry the fish for a basic lunch, but the Garrobo's team created an *incredible* meal of it. From the filet they made us a sashimi, tiritas, and seared steaks w/ zucchini drizzled with a mole sauce, accompanied by 3 other excellent sauces. It was all phenomenally good. My girlfriend and I were laughing. We walked in expecting a quick grilled fish lunch and got a ridiculously good meal I'd take over those I've had at many great restaurants where I've paid 5-10x the price we paid for this. I was so impressed by the professionalism, friendliness, and thoughtfulness of the whole team at Garrobo's. They went *way* beyond what we'd have ever expected.

Love Garrobo's seafood! Local flavor international famous this is a must to go when visit Zihua. Try ceviche campechana
