★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pollo pibil buenísimo. Buen precio y mucha amabilidad. El restaurante está justo al lado de la gran iglesia. Un lugar perfecto para refugiarse del sol y hacer una auténtica degustación culinaria mexicana. Lo recomiendo!
 Very good pibil chicken. Good price and very friendly. The restaurant is right next to the big church. A perfect place to take refuge from the sun and have an authentic Mexican culinary tasting. I recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Adresse parfaite pour une petite pause déjeuner avant de faire la ruta puuc ! Le restaurant a réouvert ses portes après 1 an de fermeture dû à la pandémie, l’ambiance y est donc très chaleureuse ! Les bananes plantains frites sont délicieuses et la gérante est adorable.
Perfect address for a small lunch break before doing the ruta puuc! The restaurant has reopened its doors after 1 year of closure due to the pandemic, so the atmosphere is very warm! The fried plantains are delicious and the manager is lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein guter Ort, um sich auf der Ruta Puuc zu stärken. Das Restaurant ist familiär und strahlt einen gewissen Charme aus. Hat etwas gedauert bis das Essen da war, jedoch war die Sopa de Lima das Warten wert.
A good place to stop for refreshments on the Ruta Puuc. The restaurant is informal and exudes a certain charm. It took a while for the food to arrive, but the Sopa de Lima was worth the wait.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inexpensive but that's the only advantage. Small portions, so I kept feeling hungry right after the meal. "Burritos" were just a thinnest piece of ham and cheese in a tortilla. "Puerco a la yucateca" only had some carrot as a side, paper-thin piece of pork without any actual taste. Cannot recommend this extremely poor quality place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was just in good mood and vibes, Santa Elena is so local and cute village. But this place is total SCAM, reviews are made obviously by local friends as I checked later. It’s super expensive compared to normal mexican food and even european restaurants in Mexico. Very low quality of food. I got vegetable soup which was basically just water and boiled frozen vegetables for 70 pesos! My wife got Flautas which was only chicken with ketchup wrapped in tortillas. Interior is cute poor space, like when you get tacos for 8 pesos in somebody’s garage in Mexico City, so no problem with that. But prices and food, its obviously TRAP.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and clean budget option. The owner is really nice. Will adapt any plate to your request. They also have a vegetarian options (the vegetable tacos are really good... more like a quesadilla with lots of veggies(including broccoli when we visited). All juices are made with bottled watered. Stop here instead of some of the most expensive options on the outskirts of town: better food,better service,and cheaper.
