★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good service. They were out of fish, though it was on the menu board and the primary reason we went to try the restaurant. I ordered the chicken instead. It was very thin and really overcooked. The garlic flavor was good. My wife's "pastel de carne con salsa de ciruela", a sort of meatloaf covered in plum sauce and raisins might have been the worst thing I've eaten while living in Cozumel for several years. The flavors were discordant and the texture was like a firm pate. Neither of us could handle more than 2 bites and that was just out of morbid curiosity. I gave them an extra star because the cream of bean soup was good. We won't go back. $230 pesos for 2 meals and soft drinks is about average for local dining.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The daily specials are always delicious. The house salad,has a soul and vinegar dressing that is very lite. The Lasagna and spaghetti specials will satisfy any appetite. The grilled chicken is also plentiful. The desserts are well worth the extra cost. We keep going for more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome, inexpensive local restaurant where the food is homemade and made with love. The ambiance is very relaxed and inviting. Daily specials are 135 pesos (about 7 bucks), but is a complete meal including soup or salad, entree and two sides, drink, and dessert and is healthy and delicious. One of my go to restaurants. Check it out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent place for delicious "locals" style food! Good service and great value! Everything we have ever ordered was fresh made and flavorful and the table salsas are excellent. Usually lunch starts off with a soup before the main course and the flavored water of the day is included in the price! Super bien!
