★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been here multiple times. As an adventurous eater, I was glad to find an upscale place that offered escamoles. Scrumptious! And I bought a few bottles to go of their eponymous red wine, a delightful regional blend for any occasion! Free small plate samples of their signature dishes really classed up the meal. Irapuato has great strawberries and cream, but Restaurant Bixa has perfected it! 5/5 would return again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apparently, the best restaurant in Irapuato. Tucked deeply in an unexpected neighborhood, the upscale atmosphere pleasantly surprises you when you walk in. They greet and cater you as if you are a VIP, and the carefully prepared dishes bring sensations all across the spectrum between bold and delicate. The staff will make sure that you will leave the restaurant with a pleasant experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The steak I had was delicious, with a mushroom cream sauce. The Bixa salad was a huge Caesar salad which I shared. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and I thought the prices were reasonable. Try the mezcalita!
