Restaurante Danny's Terrace - 71980 Puerto Escondido

Fun beach setting. Good quality food and portion sizes. Allowed substitutions. Prices good for portion sizes. Seafood cocktails are large and filling. Food takes quite a while to get to table so don't be in a hurry: Mexico time. Margaritas were very good per others in our party who had 2 each. Red snapper came whole with head and tail. Coconut shrimp were very good..large 6 count. Been here 3 times and will return.

Terrible food, terrible service. Do NOT order the nachos.

Excellent spot with a great location by the main beach. Happy hour between 5 - 7 pm. The hamburger was very good and the coconut shrimp the best so far. The restroom was clean and the kitchen seemed really concerned about food safe practices.

Good view but not worth the wait! Might be good for sunset beers, but go somewhere else if youre expecting food. Waited well over an hour after we ordered to find out they still hadnt even started cooking our meal... We stopped in just after morning rush at 11am to have breakfast before we had to check out of our hotel. The restaraunt was about 2/3rds full at that point but several large tables were all leaving. It was a mix of locals and older expat types. They had 3 people in the kitchen, one main host and another server but all we're working rather casually. By the time we sat down the restaraunt wasn't even that busy but the waitress told me the waffles would take a long time, so I ordered something else instead. After an hour of slowly drinking cold coffee, we asked if it would be much longer because we had to check out of our hotel soon... after asking a second time we found out there was 2 other tables they had to cook before even getting to ours and those people had been sitting there when we first walked in! We were very polite the whole time and speak fluent Spanish, but after not getting the waitress attention again we finally told the cooks directly to cancel our orders. We left money for the coffee on the table and left with no food in sight. I'm convinced it would have taken a full 2 hrs before we got our breakfast.

It's good. It's prices are typical for the beach (which is fine) although you don't really have much of a view. But everyone is very friendly and the food is good, breakfast and otherwise. I've probably been 20 times

The freshly squeezed orange juice was fantastic! But the garlic shrimp were dried up and there was only 4 small shrimp for nearly 200 pesos. Then the fish filet was also strips of fish rather than a fish loin and therefore disappointing for also nearly 200 pesos. We were going to order coconut shrimp but we’re told there would only be 4 shrimp, albeit meant to be large, but for more than 300 pesos. This place is good for drinks, sat on a nice terrace overlooking the Bahia Principal but we found somewhat disappointing for the quality and quantity of food. However the service was excellent and friendly.

Good atmosphere, cold beers, and a very friendly waiter. It seems that gets pretty busy, and they only had one person running the show was our waitress. She did her best. Food was good. We had a fish sandwich and a soup (it needed extra flavour).. Right on the beach.

Lovely little spot directly on the beach. Very friendly stuff, nice music is playing and they have good breakfast options. I had the whole wheat waffles with caramelized fruits on top which was very tasty. The juices here are also good. All in all a recommendation and the prices are also very fair.
