El restaurante El Español fue fundado en 1996 por Fidel Alsasua Rubio un inmigrante originario de Pamplona a quién el pueblo de las manzanas (Canatlán, Dgo.) acogió con cariño y lo apodo "el español". Con los años el negocio prospero y gano reconocimiento gracias a su deliciosa paella valenciana la cuál se convirtió en su platillo estrella.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Muy buena la comida,, el personal es amable y atento, recomendado todo lo que tienen en el menú, definitivamente es buena opción para comer. Lo único que no me gustó fue una limonada ya que la endulzaron con azúcar y no con jarabe, además que estaba el limón algo pasado o amargo.
The food is very good, the staff is friendly and attentive, recommended everything they have on the menu, it is definitely a good option to eat. The only thing I didn't like was a lemonade since they sweetened it with sugar and not syrup, plus the lemon was a bit stale or bitter.
