It is not a taco stand or a tourist attraction. Popular with travlers going north and south on the Cancun-Chetumal highway. Staff is friendly and attentive. It has been here for many years; seems unchanged.

Very professional waiters and staff, equivalent to what is expected at the coastal resorts. Most times I visit (I am a frequent guest as this is the BEST place in tiwn) it is nearly empty. Food selection is everything from local Mayan dishes , to Mexican and even a little American. Very clean kitchen (I always inspect) and all staff is well groomed.

Probably will not stop here again, though because the police in this town discourage tourists. we will drive right through this time. Restaurant owners: talk to your police officers and tell them to stop bribing tourists.
