★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant owned by the same family at least for last couple of decades is a rural location, while visiting don't forget the three main ingredients before you start eating your order, Guacamole, white queso fresco and salsa, all mixed in a handmade tortilla. Good space to park and on the back they have enough space to see your kids running around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hidden gem talk about truly authentic northern Mexican local lunches and traditional breakfasts plates made from scratch and it is ridiculously cheap compared to beachfront restaurants. It is in the outskirts of Mazatlan but we'll worth it. We ate there before our epic bass fishing trip to lake Picachos . My son ordered carne Asada plate and I ordered the machaca plate both came with beans hand made tortillas fresh local cheese and guacamole??one of my new favorites, especially at the extremely affordable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent carne asada plate here!! If you're traveling to Mazatlán for whatever reason, make it a mission to drive a little outside of town to grab a plate to eat here. The staff and food were great! I'll definitely be coming back here whenever we're in town.
