Absolutely amazing place with friendly stuff, big portions at affordable prices and impeccable taste. One of the best pozole I've tried in Mexico

I have been going by this Restaurant for months. Everytime I stop at Pat's tortillas or go to the Casa Hogar, I think, I have to try that place. I finally stopped there for breakfast. What took me so long?? This place is OUTSTANDING! The food was excellent. The Restaurant (and the kitchen) is immaculate! The coffee is good and the prices are very fair!! The dining room is very comfortable (lots of ceiling fans). The owners are nice, welcoming, and friendly. I will most certainly be back to this Restaurant!!

Order took so long to make no communication why just left me there waiting 30 min for a simple meal wouldn't recommend won't be coming back not even a apology

I had the huevos Oaxaquenos, which were awesome. My wife had the chiliquiles, which were also great.

I ate a lot of mole while in Puerto, this place had the best mole of the trip! So flavorful and delicious. I got their Cacao was also very very good!

It used to be one of my favorite places to eat in Puerto, but nowadays I can't recommend it. The prices recently increased by 30-40% (or even a bit more for some items). The service is no longer as quick and attentive as it once was. The food arrived a bit cold. Once upon a time the beers were served in frosty mugs straight from the freezer (yum!), but this time the mugs were not cold, but rather a bit warm (pouring cold beer into a somewhat warm mug is pretty silly, to say the least). As other people have mentioned, they do close early (earlier than posted times). Even on the weekend. When we were there they closed a couple of hours early (luckily, or maybe not considering the poor experience, we arrived something like two minutes before they closed the gates). And while we were eating they turned away several potential customers. The server was polite and pleasant, no complaints there. And I do like the ambiance of the place. But, whereas this used to be one of my go-to places, I don't think I'll be back.
