★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything is better when the wait staff is friendly and this place is no different. Greeted with a huge smile and attentive service. Server patiently explained the different dishes. We were all very happy with our food. My friend also customized her food by adding capers and was super pleased. The juices are also extremy fresh and you can get a pitcher of it to share. The sopa de lima was also spot on. This is a tourist friendly restaurant even though it's outside of Centro. Everyone speaks English but are happy to help you practice Spanish. Again, super friendly wait staff. Great atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply the worst meal we had in Cozumel. For the ceviche, we had to ask for limes, since we couldn't taste any in it. We ordered two different styles of fish. Unfortunately the fish was "mushy" and could just taste the sauce. Summary: We took 2 bites, stopped and asked for the check. The Server seeing we barely ate, asked us, how was everything? We almost laughed, since he could surely see. (I doubt their employees would eat their own fish, it was sooo bad.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My family has been coming to this place for years. The food is so good, the wait staff are so incredibly kind, and the prices are good. Get the fish filet with garlic butter, it is so incredibly good. Definitely try this place.

Our family of eight all had exceptional dishes here including some very tasty and fairly strong margaritas. The proprietor is ebullient and kind and makes for a fantastic experience. Food portions were large and fairly priced, and we were happy to find this far enough away from the cruise port to have more of a local feel. Spanish and English menu.
The fish dishes were fantastic and I would recommend nearly everything on the menu.

We had their fish special which was served with onions, peppers, capers, cheese, and sauce with rice. I had the watermelon aqua fresco and it was great! Also tried the conch ceviche, which had a little too much lime for my taste, but still really good as well. Reasonable prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place feels like a second home due to the amazing family that works there. It was my first time trying mole and they let me have a sample to see if I wanted it on my dish! It was a wonderful experience to be able to talk to Ray and learn about the different flavors in each of the dishes. They have a wide array of options and although I have only tried the chicken mole, I have only heard good things about everything else they have to offer. Definitely give this place a go when in Cozumel. You'll be supporting a family and a family who gives back to the community and creates a wonderful environment!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Keep coming back to enjoy El Moro every trip to Cozumel. It's a good feeling walking into a restaurant that's filled with customers.
We ordered Fresh Pineapple Juice, along with Chicken Burritos(my husband's plate, there could have been 1 more burrito, he was still a bit hungry but satisfied) and Shrimp Fajitas(I recommend corn tortillas over flour).
