★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nine of us descended on Tio Pablo and were delighted. I had the ribs. The meat fell off the bone. Friends had a variety, including a filet mignon, enchiladas with shrimp, and a huge hamburger. All delicious. The service was great. The server really listened. Courteous, friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a non- touristy joint in a non-touristy ‘burb of Sam Miguel. Nothing fancy but clean with a shady, pleasant back patio. I asked for medium rare bistec ? de Chorizo and that’s exactly what I got: very nice tasting steak with delicious fresh fries, plus a grilled nopal. Pretty authentic Mexican place.
