★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pésima atención del mesero, el creé que te hace un favor, no te contesta el saludo, tampoco te da la bienvenida y con mucho trabajo lo escuchas, el tipo no ne quiso dar su nombre, pero es el más alto de todos. No recomiendo ni la comida.
Terrible attention from the waiter, I think he is doing you a favor, he does not answer your greeting, he does not welcome you either and with a lot of work you listen to him, the guy did not want to give his name, but he is the tallest of all. I don't even recommend the food.

Fortunately they actually did their job and served us food with the worst attitude possible. The food itself was eatable at most.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely a great choice for dinner if you're visiting Grutas Tolantongo. (Note that this is for the Restaurante Huamuchil not for the Cocina Económica Huamuchil which is close by).
We got the Mocaljete. The menu says it's a meal for three people, but the portion was so large, it could have fed at least four people. The meat was delicious and well seasoned, the peppers were hot, and the tortillas were warm and fresh.
For drinks, I had the piña with amaretto while while my friend had a virgin piña. They were both delicious, although a bit too sweet. They were not stingy with the alcohol.
The service was okay, very attentive at first but as the restaurant got busier, it took a while to get our server's attention. However, the food arrived quickly.
If you don't speak Spanish, don't be intimidated. The servers were quite helpful and friendly, and we still managed to communicate well enough.
To find this restaurant, head to the Rio river by the Hotel La Gruta. It's close to the store and the restrooms.
