★ ★ ★ ★ ★ there the stuffed anchor pepper.. the avocado dessert... the excellent mixology.. the roasted tomato salsa and the homemade tortillas... I liked it waaaaay better than Tintoque. trying to figure out why we had the whole place to ourselves... Mexican wines... Mexican flavors with a quite creative edge.. did I mention the pork tamal in the tomatillo sauce?? wow.. and the service was personal but not invasive

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hate to leave negative reviews but for $75 a person for a tasting menu, the food, drinks, and service here are not at the level that meets that price point. Some specifics:
Didn’t ask about food allergies
Ordered a dirty Martini and it came with a black olive and was not dirty
Tostada was very simple and unsophisticated and not worth an entire course
Ribeye was literally inedible, all gristle with wine sauce that was over reduced and too acidic
Birria was not flavorful and watery
The Mahi was good
Tamales were good.
The Plates are curved and don’t allow silverware to rest on the plate, it slides into the middle of the food
For $75 a person printed menus would be nice
Cheesecake was gummy with a thick crust and a thick and gummy consistency
The courses were delivered far too quickly not allowing us any time to savor the food or have a long conversation which is what a tasting menu is about.
The staff were very friendly and attentive, the ambiance was fun and energetic. I hope they can fix some of the issues with the food to make this a great place to eat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here to celebrate my b’day with their tasting menu and my oh my it was a pleasant surprise to see how Mexican food being done with a different twist! Simple and classy decor but if you’re in for a twisted Mexican food you’d be in for a treat here, reasonably priced menu too for how well it’s being presented!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is great, just a few things made me give it 4 stars vs 5.
One of the glasses was pretty dirty when we first arrived and needed a replacement, also as a pescatarian I needed a course replacement and they gave me a asian shrimp dish that did not fit the rest of the Mexican style food.
In general the staff was nice but seemed a bit overwhelmed, the drinks were great but I wish that had a cocktail pairing for the meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great little designer restaurant. Great service, warm and intimate atmosphere. We had the 9 course tasting menu with a varied sampling of specialty food. A bit pricey, but we'll worth the experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is Puerto Vallarta's hidden gem. The menu is targeted towards flavor pairings and expanding the clients pallet. The service was outstanding, food was amazing, cocktails were flowing and ambiance was phenominally classy. Highly recommend this restaurant solo, with friends or with a lover! A must try when in Puerto Vallarta!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I take away a star just because of the price not a quality. Paying as much as a good restaurant in Canada is insane plus the location isn’t in a very expensive area therefore Rent won’t be that expensive too. Never go hungry in this place because portions are small. In general, It is a good experience once.
