★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Service was so amazing. Multiple servers took care of us at all times, and ensured that our every need was met!! Food was delectable. Many posters mentioned that it was expensive for Mexico City, but keep in mind that this restaurant is located within the Four Seasons hotel, and everything was absolutely top notch. Prices were certainly better than anywhere stateside, and I found the cost very fair for what was delivered.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant has great service and flair, however, the food came up short. It was good but we expected something better for the ambiance presented. We preferred Zanaya for dinner over Il Becco.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware: if you ask for a glass of water they refuse to serve it claiming that they do not have filter water, this technique is used to sell you very expensive Italian bottled water. If they don't have filtered water, what type of water do they cook with? They hide behind the distinctive Cristal, however the operations manual says that all water must be drinkable and this includes human consumption.
Also my pasta was salty and I had to return it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly staff. Comfy place, the music is nice, overall the restaurant is very nice and cozy. The menu is small but there's variety for every taste. Good suggestions are good. Prices are a bit overpriced for what you get. Bread is freshly baked and delicious. Good Italian choice near Reforma.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to splurge and be pampered, you cannot miss at Il Becco. Candied artichoke hearts in a salad? Don't knock it til you try it! The pastas, the short rib, the desserts: all fantastic. Risotto was a tad al dente for me, personally, but the flavors were so on point, it did not matter. Service: impeccable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent!!!! The service and food were so good. The bartender made a custom-made drink for me that I loved with gin, Prosecco, and limoncello ? Started with pasta which was a special for the night “tagliolini al tartufo nero”. For main I tried the BRASATO DI COSTOLETTE (Short-Rib) glaseado con puré de coliflor, legumbres a la parrilla.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While I was staying at the Four Seasons I really wanted to try this on-site Italian restaurant and I’m so glad I did.
I came around 6:30pm without a reservation, which wasn’t an issue because locals dine much later.
I was served an amuse bouche quite like an arancini that was simply delightful and really flavourful.
Next I ordered the raspberry, parmesan and arugula salad, which was the most perfect combination of flavours, I literally enjoyed every refreshing and savoury bite.
Lastly, I asked for the special, which was black truffle pasta. While it was a pricy dish, it was 100% worth any cost. The taste was absolutely heaven! I spent a few months in Italy and Croatia this summer and ate my fair share of truffles and this dish was right up there with the best I had in Europe.
Highly recommended for authentic Italian flavours and high quality food.
