Los sabores y la entrañable atención de tres generaciones que te abren las puertas de su casa para compartir un buen rato y comida. Merece la pena parar a saludar y disfrutar de sus tamales y tepaches artesanales. Familiar place like few others. The flavors and the affectionate attention of three generations that open the doors of their home to share a good time and food. It is worth stopping to say hello and enjoy their handmade tamales and tepaches.

G	Gary Hawton on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a hidden gem between Bacalar and F Carrillo Puerto. Señor Pedro runs the restaurant and grows a majority of their products on site. The tamales are excellent and fairly good sized. The sweet tamale was a nice light dessert and also try the grilled masa. Pedro also has homemade pineapple "cider" which was very tasty and had a slight alcohol content. You can see him fermenting it in large jars behind where you eat. Most enjoyable was Pedro sat next to us while we ate and told us about the place, the food, etc. He showed us a little logbook where many of his guests have signed and he showed us he's had visitors from around the world--he's very proud of that. It was a very enjoyable experience and we will return.

Delicious homemade food and drinks, very reasonably priced, and great company provided by this friendly and hospitable gentleman. We found this place by accident and look forward to visiting him again soon!

It is not like a regular restaurant, more like a shed were the family is sharing their local produced food with you. We ate dinner with the whole family and they were really welcoming and friendly.
