★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Restaurante La Blanca is a cozy place with old pictures on the walls. You will find typical food of Hidalgo. Everything we tried was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND IT!visited this place on Sunday July 25, 2021... what a disappointment! The restaurant is a very well known place while visiting Pachuca, at first the ambiance is great, however the "hostesses" are rude and grumpy, but we were there already so we decided to give it a try. The menu is very limited, no variety. When we finally got our food it was cold and nasty. We ordered "barbacoa" overpriced and cold, greasy and it didn't take fresh.
We ordered fish, it was cold and uncooked. "Chalupitas"same thing, cold and no flavor whatsoever.
The waiter did never come to check on us. When we finally ask for the check, it took forever for one of them to bring the "terminal" to swipe my card, the hostess came with it, she did not even have a clip board for me to lean on to sign the voucher.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a nice taste in their foods but aren't warm enough when served (at least for me). Also their prices are a little higher than expected being this a little town. Nice decorations, not to crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurante was recommended by a blog that I read about Pachuca, and I am glad we chose this. The interior of the place is very cozy, and it is centrally located. About the food itself - I ordered Mixiote, and it is now one of my favorite Mexican dish! Huge portion size, and the flavor is out of this world! Will definitely go back here in the future.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got lucky picking this spot for lunch and then found out it's a mainstay in Pachuca! Beautiful restaurant with intricate, artistic details inside and delicious foods! Highly recommend the Pastes!
