★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there yesterday and when we got the bill I noticed an extra charge. When I asked what it was the waiter told me it was tax. We have never been anywhere in Bucerias that has added tax to the bill. Now that I read these other reviews it appears that adding additional charges to the bill is common practice. The pancakes were good but the fruit plate was pineapple and papaya - the pineapple was starting to ferment. We won’t be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were not impressed. Service was slow. Food was expensive compared to other similar restaurants. Food was not very good and was served with cold French fries . Took 20 min to bring a beer. Won’t go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waiter today padded our $570 bill by $200. The bill was very confusing and the waiter just stood there after bringing us the bill and waited for us to pay up.
After I pointed it out to him, he brought us a new bill and tried to sneak in. $100 peso tip. Shameless.
Lousy food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Th only reason why we couldn’t give this place 5 ⭐️’s is because of the small shrimp tacos with the big price. They tasted very good but... The service was very good and the location was excellent. Will be better when they bring in some small beach chair tables. Our waiter was very careful to walk through our bill with us so there would be no misunderstanding and no mistake. We would go back but just stick to the beer and great guacamole !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I would have read other reviews before going here. My wife ordered chicken cordon blue and it was served raw in the middle. Probably the worst restaurant meal she has ever had. My fish tacos were mediocre.
And I see others posting about an additional charge for tipping the staff. Same happened to us. Just a random 120 pecos added to the bill.
Just go somewhere else.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for dinner. Food was awful. When it came time to pay the bill was scratched on a napkin. There was an added charge of 80 pesos supposedly a tip for the kitchen staff. Stay away! There are many better places to eat in Bucerias.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great lunch here today. Service was “ok”. We had the beef burrito, the large shrimp ranchero (I really liked that !), and a plate of fries. Along with ten (10) Cervesas !! 1,280 pesos. We also enjoyed the ambiance.

I went to this restaurant today for the very first time. Waitress and owner were so rude. They also tried to overcharge us for drinks and food. When waitress brought the bill, she also added an extra 80 pesos for charging my phone (never seen this anywhere around the world). They later said this was an “optional tip” but there was clearly no option!
When I asked explanations about the bill (680 pesos) for 2 tequilla shots, 2 lemonades and guacamole to the owner, she said they added “optional tip” to the bill. Then she said I am not welcome there anymore and tried to make me leave.
I insisted so she returned part of my money and threw some on it on the floor.
TERRIBLE PEOPLE, please DON’T go there !!!!
I also want to say I have been going to Mexico for years and never had this happen to me.
