Simple place with friendly staff, slow service, compensated by the excellent taste of their dishes and the magnificent view of the river right next to it. There is not much place to park, but it is worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A cosy tropical paradise just a 20 minute/$20 peso colectivo ride from Puerto Escondido. You can walk here from the drop off point, or hop on a moto taxi. $7 pesos.
The fish tacos are good. They have live mojarras in a tank. You can choose the size you want. Can't get any fresher than live.
I'm not sure what all they serve here. Next time I'll take a picture of the menu.
I remember them saying they do pollo al rancho (free range chickens) on weekends.
Reasonable prices, I think. $40 pesos for an order of 4 pescadillas. $18 pesos una cerveza.
