★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Llegamos un domingo a la 1 de la tarde, a esa hora ya no había barbacoa (me dicen que sólo la hacen sábados y domingos, y hay que llegar antes de las 11 para alcanzar). Así que nos tuvimos que conformar con un Molcajete Los Magueyes, que tiene arrachera, chorizo, frijoles, nopales, aguacate, etc. Alcanza para 2 o 3 personas y está delicioso.También tienen una salsa con xoconostle muy sabrosa. El servicio fue rápido y amable. Precios razonables, menos de $150 por persona. Recomendado.
We arrived on a Sunday at 1 pm, at that time there was no barbecue (they tell me they only do it on Saturdays and Sundays, and you have to arrive before 11 to reach). So we had to settle for a Molcajete Los Magueyes, which has flank steak, chorizo, beans, nopales, avocado, etc. It reaches 2 or 3 people and is delicious. They also have a very tasty sauce with xoconostle. The service was fast and friendly. Reasonable prices, less than $ 150 per person. Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I live in Guanajuato, and this is the best Mexican food I've found around. Very genuine, and down home. I've had the barbacoa and the Mexican style is not as good as Tex-Mex. But this is the best I've had. I like the molcajete, and the queso fundido, and it's big enough for 3 or 4. Price? Not sure. It's been a while. About 150 pesos apiece, depending on drinks. 150 is less than $9 US.
If I liked barbacoa more, I'd have given it 5 stars.
