★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap, went for breakfast before heading to the archeological zone, the coffee ordered fist never arrived, nor did the one supposed to be included with breakfast. Breakfast appeared to be pre-prepared (actually had the same dish when arriving late for a buffet breakfast at another place in better quality). Absolutely overpriced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant have very interesting proposals on their menu, including crocodile meat or a plate of well-seasoned worms for an appetizer, service at a very high level, and the food is delicious, a perfect place to try local cuisine and try new flavors

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While the enviable is nice, this is the first time I’ve felt rushed at a restaurant in Mexico. My plate arrived within 5 minutes, so I’m not sure how the food could be fresh. My cocktail and appetizers had to be skipped until after the meal since I wanted to heat my hot meal. I ordered a margarita and it came frozen. I didn’t send it back since I forgot to specify I wanted it on the rocks, however it would have been nice to be asked. I was never offered a second drink, so I left. Too bad, I was enjoying the music.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The terrace has a nice view and cool vibe, check it out. Had appetizers for dinner: chorizo with cheese, garlic yucca, and shrimp tacos. Enough for two people and all excellent flavor. I accompanied it with a bottle of Chilean red blend. Service was just perfect also. Totally recommended it. Will be back for breakfast.
Update: breakfast was great too, albeit the terrace was closed as they were cleaning it and it takes a while. Service once again was great too, recommend it 100%.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ While this resturant is expensive for Mexico, the food is extremely high quality. The chips / salsas and bread / butter are excellent. The tortillas are perfect. I had the pollo Palenque and the flavor was outstanding. Worth the money if you are willing to spend a few extra $$ on food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very tasty food and even vegetables on our plates. Didn't see it that often on our holidays that vegetables came along. The prices were higher than usual, but that is because of our European meat choices I guess.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly stuff, good food and a clean Toilette. Prices are not the cheapest, but good for this quality. There was live-music and authentically dishes. Also good vine is served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This restaurant is great and is steeped in local history having been in operation since 1958.
All of the food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxing and authentic.
There was a guitar player and singer at the restaurant who played Spanish language songs from around the world, explaining their history before he played them.
Crocodile was on the menu and it was tasty. Be advised that if you order it, one bit might be chewy.. this is not the fault of the kitchen but unfortunately can sometimes just happen with the wrong part of the crocodile.
Salads and soups were wonderful as well.
The service was friendly and we left feeling satisfied and happy with everything - something which has not been a recurring theme on our travels in Mexico!
