Don't Miss This One! This was not just a gourmet breakfast in a gem historic location but a wonderful experience. The wait staff including a charming Paola could not be more devoted to their work. The building is also a historic monument to the birthplace of Doloris de la Rios a 40s era Hollywood star from the city of Durango.

Not Impressed. We were there for lunch. Small portions. I had asado de boda. Tasted fine, but just like what I would get at a Mexican restaurant in the US.

This restaurant had really good reviews however, not impressed with the food or the service. I would say the portion sizes are small for the amount of money you're paying. I was going to get a salad but it turned out they really didn't have any salad dressing, although it said it on the menu.? I ended up with some sad little tacos, there was supposed to be avocado, it said aguacate, however what I got was a very tiny bit of what appear to be green mayonnaise, I guess there was avocado in there, but it didn't taste like it, no flavor at all. And why no chips or even salsas to add onto your food? My husband had beans with his meal and it was a tiny little bit. Well they might go broke giving you too many beans! I'll stick to eating at the little restaurants on the street. It seems the more you pay for the food the less you get The museum part of it is really cool, it has a very nice ambiance. Although I felt it was weird playing American rock music. For a 1940s Mexican museum the music should have been a little different. We were there on a Saturday and we were the only people eating there and had not so great service. Will not go back.
