Overall: 8/10 ? Welcome: 8/10 a bit distant but friendly. Nice: two greetings of the kitchen Menu: 10/10 great choice, not too much. All ingredients seemed fresh. Drinks: Nice menu and tasty, maybe a bit too strong cocktails. Good choice of local stuff like pox and mescal based drinks. Perfect presentation: 9/10 Perfect ambiente. Romantic, classy, well decorated. 10/10 Appetizers: 7/10 good taccitos with smoked cecina al pastor - it would be a 10/10 but the salsa was missing. So 8/10 The breaded cheese with jalapeño-sauce was okayish, not more, but definitely professionally presented on the plate, in my eyes too much green sauce which made the poor little cheese drown. 6/10 Portion in this case too small. Camarones aguachile: a cold dish as it has to be. So far, so good. Nice, constantly professionally cut vegetables. But: almost zero camarones and a sauce which was unfortunately completely poured over the veggies and mini-shrimp-pieces which was mega salty - and also too sour. 4/10 We told them that it was too salty - actually not enjoyable. The waiter wanted to do better but we said we would like to skip it - it nevertheless came again... The only malus of the service. We didn't want it and gave it back. Main course: Cecina, salsiccia, beans, pineapple onion relish and one more tomato+onion relish... The beans were perfectly cooked. The meat was good in quality and pan-fried with little oil which was okay. But it was sliced very irregular which led to the fact that some parts were thinker than a cm and others like only 3 mm. Some parts of it were rare and others dry. Not fried to perfection... 6/10 Presentation of the food: 10/10 Music: 10/10 Bill: Correct (without the Camarones) - 10/10 We would come back.

Stayed in the hotel and the last night we had dinner in its restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was impeccable. It would be helpful to have translated menus. Google translate was only somewhat helpfull.

Wow. This place was recommended by our airbnb owner in Tuxtla so we figured we’d give it a try. Walking through an unassuming street a couple blocks from centro and into the central garden, you’re transported into a garden oasis. Service was amazing, atmosphere romantic and well curated, and the meal was the best I’ve had in Mexico in the 8 months I’ve been here. You must come here for the quality, value, and experience.

Really nice service and a very pretty place but the food is mediocre. Both of our mains were just odd tasting. I’m down for experimental dishes but they still have to be delicious. Dessert tasted like a piece of chocolate cake from a cheap bakery. The soups might have been the best dishes but neither was served hot.
