★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a brief visit, had a lovely buffet lunch which was included in a trip, a quick tour around the mock mayan village and hushered into a very expensive gift shop, unrealistic inflated prices on every thing in the shop, paid over £5 for two small lemonades, then your photo is taken with a group of young men dressed in mayan tribal dress ( which was impressive ), you then get back on the coach and a young lady comes round with a small bottle of local honey based alcohol ( 35 cl ) and wants 20 US dollars for it, but it does have your recently taken photo on the front, however you can decline to buy it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food is fine. The soup was superb and we hoped for the same for the other dishes to deliver similar taste sensations. It was OK but no to little flavor. Great colors and nice presentation but the 'mass production' must have lost the flavor. We were part of a 'bus load' of tourists which were pushed through in a hurry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent food. The Cochinita pibil (pig cooked underground, ancient bbq) is their most famous food. The tortillas are hand made and are delicious.
