★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta estación ya fue remodelada y se encuentra en muy buen estado. Si se cuenta con algo de tiempo, puede apreciar algunas imágenes referentes a ese hecho histórico. Vale la pena.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ El icono de la estación representa el monumento a la Revolución Mexicana.
Este monumento originalmente se ideó con un estilo clásico del renacimiento francés, por el arquitecto Emile Bernard, para servir de recinto al Palacio Legislativo durante la época porfiriana.
La construcción empezó el 23 de septiembre de 1910 y en 1912 se abandonó la estructura, quedando firme sólo la cúpula.
En 1932, el arquitecto Carlos Obregón Santacilia propuso al gobierno aprovechar la estructura para construir un Monumento a la Revolución, mismo que fue aprobado, iniciándose así un croquis, proyectos, diseños, por lo que se continuó la edificación, hasta terminarla en 1938.
Se aprovechó la estructura original de la cúpula, en cuya parte superior (63 metros), se acomodaron los cuatro grupos escultóricos que representan: La Independencia, las Leyes de Reforma, las Leyes Obreras y las Leyes Agrarias, hechas por el escultor Oliverio Martínez. La obra es de piedra chiluca.
Posteriormente se depositaron en urnas de bronce los restos de Venustiano Carranza, Francisco I. Madero, Plutarco E. Calles y Lázaro Cárdenas

The icon of the station represents the monument to the Mexican Revolution.
This monument was originally devised in a classical style of the French Renaissance, by the architect Emile Bernard, to serve as an enclosure for the Legislative Palace during the Porfirian era.
Construction began on September 23, 1910 and in 1912 the structure was abandoned, leaving only the dome firm.
In 1932, the architect Carlos Obregón Santacilia proposed to the government to take advantage of the structure to build a Monument to the Revolution, which was approved, thus starting a sketch, projects, designs, so the construction was continued, until it was finished in 1938.
The original structure of the dome was used, in whose upper part (63 meters), the four sculptural groups were accommodated that represent: Independence, the Reform Laws, the Workers' Laws and the Agrarian Laws, made by the sculptor Oliverio Martínez. The work is made of Chiluca stone.
Later, the remains of Venustiano Carranza, Francisco I. Madero, Plutarco E. Calles and Lázaro Cárdenas were deposited in bronze urns.
