Good location and staff are great, toilet was damage and they fixed as soon we notifique them!

A lovely and fairly cheap hostel in Sayulita. It's a five minute walk to the beach and a five minute walk to anywhere else in town. The propietario was very kind and accommodating and the hostel was very colorful and well-decorated. We didn't have A/C in our room (although I believe it's in other rooms) but we did have a fan. We had WiFi as well. Would recommend.

One of the cheapest private room prices around, which I still found expensive for the unfinished room I was given. Workers were finishing the ceiling and I could still smell the paint during the first night. Cleaning could use some improvement, since when I got to my room there was still dust from the works, shower drain with hair (as the ones around the hostel, where all the dirt is swiped to and it's not picked up), and the toilet seat had to be cleaned again as well. Kitchen is really small and with very few cooking utensils, making it hard to properly cook there. There wasn't any hand sanitizer around when I got there, being placed 2 days after I asked for it. In general an ok experience, because the staff was nice and the beautiful decoration around.

Really cool hostel close to the beach and center of town . The staff was incredible. One of the people I was traveling with got sick and the staff did everything in their power to make him feel better. They even came to his room with a cup of tea. This isn't a luxurious place but the hospitality certainly makes up for it .5 stars easy , would return.

Booked a room online and showed up 2 hrs after check in time, but nobody was there. Called the number provided on the booking site, no answer. Called the number posted on the door, someone answered but didn't understand when I asked about the hotel, hung up and didn't answer any of the next 4 times I called. After waiting outside in 90+ temp heat I gave up and found a new place. They even tried to fight my request for refund by claiming someone was there when I called and knocked! Don't waste your money.

Riad Lola has all you need to enjoy beautiful Sayulita! The employees are very friendly and keep the place in great shape. Can’t wait to be back!! ❤️❤️

We booked the biggest family room and according to the description it had 4 beds and a kitchenette with private breakfast area. They gave us a moldy room half the size with less beds and open bathroom. They blamed booking.com for error and said we didn't have to stay but no refunds and it was late at night already. They got mad because we complained of no hot water, they said take a shower in afternoon when no one else is showering and it would be lookwarm

You can hear EVERYTHING happening around you — from normal conversations to couples having “private” moments. To be fair, other places in Sayulita have this issue but usually there’s at least a loud A/C or fan that helps muffle the noise. There are holes at the top of the wall for windows, and no screens, so bugs come in. I spent over a week in Sayulita and only got bug bites when sleeping in this room for 2 nights. The place looks cute on the outside but the rooms need a deep cleaning beyond just turning them for the next guest (see photos). Yes, the price is great for a private room in Sayulita but I slept better in a hostel. I did enjoy the soft blankets and good towels, they just need to put more care into the rooms and facilities.
