Ricky Tours - 97720 Río Lagartos

Ricky is the best. He is funny and patient. We came to rio lagartos only for the pink lagoon and even though it is a restricted area now and not so pink anymore, we expressed how much we wanted to see it. They said it would really depend on the weather. We accepted the fact that we wouldn’t see it and book the 3-hour-tour where we saw all kinds of birds, he brings fish to lure them so we can see all kind of birds from up close, including an eagle!! And then also lured a small crocodile! He was way more entertaining than other guides we met along the activities, making us laugh all the time. He probably has an itinerary to follow, but every time we would be interested in something he wouldn’t shy to do a u-turn and stop closer so we can witness EVERYTHING! haha Anywho, guess what? HE STOPPED AT LOS COLORADOS SO WE CAN SEE THE PINK LAGOON, and it was beau-ti-ful. It was pinker before apparently, but for someone who hasnt seen it before, it was pink enough for me! Overall, amazing guide, really reading the people he has on the boat to please everyone and shares a lot of information. 10/10 recommend!!!

We had an awesome 3 hour tour with Ricky to see the beautiful flamingos and many birds of the Rio Lagartos area. He takes time to give you the full experience of what the biosphere has to offer. We also saw alligators! He is fun to be with and makes you feel like you are part of his family! We highly recommend booking a tour with him!!!

Amazing experience! The tour was the best we did in our trip through Mexico. Ricky explained a lot and made sure we all had a good time. We saw many birds and fed them, even saw dolphins. We enjoyed it a lot. There were many unexpected surprises such as holding a crab...

Ricky is simply the best tour guide you'll get in Rio Lagartos. Don't bother shopping elsewhere. He takes his time to show you around. Recognizes what you want/like and personnalizes the tour accordingly. Very knowledgeable guide and explains everything you see and makes sure you see wildlife from up close.

Really great funny tour of 4 hours, starting and ending directly at rickys hotel, comfortable and super price! Crocodiles, frigats, cormorans, eagles, falcons, pelicans.....and of course flamingos during a great walk through the wetlands ❤?? really nice photostop at the pink lakes if you want

Ricky is super nice, super chill, takes his time, no rush and very funny. We had a wonderful experience, he showed us many things with a lot of explanation. I recommend 200% ! ?
