Dr. José Enrique Coello Escalante - Rinoplasy/Septoplasty At 55 years old, I decided to reward myself with a rhinoplasty/septoplasty. I am amazed at the quality of work and the ease of the procedure. Dr. Coello Escalante was very careful to have all tests completed, blood tests, Facial topography, heart check, and general health questionnaire. My first appointment was on May 18th and I had completed all testing and received results in time to have the procedure on May 20th at 5:30 am . The procedure was preformed under general anesthesia in outpatient surgery. Within 3 hours, the surgery was complete. Following the surgery there was no pain. A series of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, decongestant, and mild pain relievers were prescribed. NO NARCOTICS were prescribed or needed which was excellent. Dr. Coello also prescribed arnica for swelling and bruising. While there was minimal swelling, as should be expected, there was no bruising. Topical solutions for moisture, antibiotic and scarring were applied regularly. I had a “boxy” nose, which considered hard skin and challenging. I have wanted a reduction surgery since I was 16 but never took the time to research beyond the USA where I was living. At 18 I had a major accident wherein, I broke my nose, teeth, jaw and shoulder. I never had these issues fixed and was not treated for the injuries. Dr. Coello was able to fix my old trauma, deviated septum, and make my nose attractive. My only regret is not having done this sooner. Dr Coello explained each process and clearly explained what to expect as the healing process began. He and his staff were easy to contact and responded very quickly to all messages and concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Coello.
