The staff is friendly. ## NOTE: The upper floor is only open on weekends ## INTERESTING: The kitchen is not completely private (but the dining area is free of cooking smells). They have a cute living room. You can have an introductory talk about the menu at your first time here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a find! I came here with some friends to have the limited-time menu option of a hamburger in the style of chile en nogado. The version served here at Rio53 was outstanding—dare I say that it was even better than the traditional chile en nogado served at fine restaurants .If you're in Morelia in September, please don't miss this special menu item!
The small, attractive dining room is casual and relaxing, but the staff remain totally professional and competent. A complimentary bowl of their sprouted lentil salad is provided as a botañito—delicious!
The regular menu is filled with innovative burger combinations and styles...I can't wait to eat my way all the way through the regular menu. No liquors or cocktails are served, but there are plenty of beer options, and a range of aquas frescas to choose from.
