★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a wonderful restaurant; great selection on the menu and the food quality is impressive, service is impeccable, wines limited but fresh and crisp, decor original and has been very tastefully done. But what makes Positano rate the stars is the friendly, inclusive attention of owner Salvatore Tarzelli. He shares sincere and personal time with his clients. We chatted about travel, culture, and sport...he's a huge Napoli football fan. Salvatore introduced us to a nearby table of Mexican diners and we had a very nice chat with them (using, Spanglish, hands, and feet...) Super food, dynamite ambiente...don't miss Ristorante Positano!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven't had gluten-free authentic italian pasta before and it was outstanding here!! The gluten-free spaghetti was made fresh and it was cooked perfectly al dente. The owner, Salvatorre, is an outstanding host who speaks Italian of course, Spanish and English so being from New Zealand speaking very little Spanish it was relaxing to order easily and he absolutely understood the meaning of gluten intolerance! My gluten-free spaghetti bolognese was exceptional and my very fussy 6 year old daughter also loved the gluten-free spaghetti bolognese! It has to be the best italian food I have had in years! When I visit Chetumal again, I will absolutely be coming back to Positano! :))

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful as usual. This restaurant is closed at it's present location but it will be opening in their new location in a couple of months. I've seen the interior design and it's beautiful. Can't wait for you Grand opening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Italian restaurant in the small town of chetumal. The owner is very kind and made us feel at home. The pizza and pasta were delicious and the live music was fun. A must if you're in town.
