Riu Dunamar - 77400 Cancún

Don’t recommend it. The food is just OK not great always line up. The sports bar it’s horrible they have disgusting burger I wouldn’t even feed it to my animals. It’s not worth the money there’s way better hotel than this we have been in many other resort and it’s way better than this. The only good Riu is the palace. If you’d like to go out of the resort this is the wrong hotel for you. Don’t waste time and complain to the manager because he can do anything. If you arrive late you must eat wherever you’re coming from because there will be no food available. Good luck all!

Nice hotel. I could tell the staff were very protective of the foreigners. The same as a passionate farmer would care for their fruit trees. Everyone was trying to please. The pillows could be better. The building design is very noise amplifying. But overall it's a nice place to.spend a week or so.

A great resort with wonderful service. The rooms were cleaned daily and everything else was always clean. The food was good in the restaurants and the main buffet but not in the sports bar and we got sick from the wraps. The beach was clean and lots of tanning beds to lie on. Covid precautions were good since masks were required and dining tables were a good distance apart.

Was nice stay. Not too crowded like main hotel area. Food was good, fresh and tasty, but like everywhere the buffet was serving almost the same food every day. You could dine to other specialty restaurants also. Nice room and modern since hotel is almost new. Beach was clean, with a little bit of sea weed and beautiful sand. The waves were a little rough, ok for adults but not calm enough for little kids. They had plenty of pools and 2 water parks

The people working here are amazing. There isn't anything they won't do or provide. The place is beautiful and very well kept up. There has been a lot of remodeling and they did a good job. The front desk and management on the other hand, forget it. They don't help in any way. We had 3 kids with us and our room did not have a pullout sofa only one bed. Asked for 2 play pens we had 2.5y old and a 9 month old, why do you need 2 you can only have 1. Forget trying to check in before 4 pm management won't do it. You need anything you have to come down to the front desk, no one notes anything and takes care of it. By the way you have liquor in all the rooms but no coffee. Overall the people actually working on the premises deserve all the credit. The people running the show are only lucky to have these people here.

Nice resort. Food was just OK not great. Beds were not the best but the hotel was still beautiful, a great experience, and a great price for an all inclusive resort. I'd def visit again. Clean, the drinks were amazing, the beach was amazing. Pools were amazing. 24hr food. I can't complain

Excellent resort! We were in January 2022 and I don't understand how people can write bad reviews about this hotel. Great selection of food for all tastes! The waiters are friendly and caring! Clean beach with very comfortable sun loungers under palm trees. Our room was cleaned every day, the floor was washed, there were clean towels daily. I have never met such hardworking people as in Riu. I will be glad to stop again in Riu Dunamar. Recommend 100%. And those people who write that their choice of food is not great or people at the reception work slowly, probably very picky! Stay positive and enjoy your vacation!

Stayed here about a year ago with my husband and 4 year old daughter (while I was 7 months pregnant) and we loved it! It is such a family friendly hotel. Our daughter basically lived in the kids pool area with the slides. My husband enjoyed the adult water slides, and the pools were all great for lounging around. Beach was really nice. The room was large and clean. Food was fine, on par with what you would expect from an all inclusive resort. Definitely enough variety that there was always something for everyone. We are going again in a week, with the addition of our 8 month old son, and we are so looking forward to it! We were there during peak pandemic time when they were at half capacity and lower staff last time, so it will be interesting to see how it is different this time. Even so, the resort was still very well maintained and the staff was friendly, even with everything that was going in at the time. Definitely would recommend this resort to any family with children looking for a great get away.
