Chichen Itzá Tour

First of all, they booked the tour through a different company, Easy Tours, so Idk if they even do their own or just sell tours from other companies. I did the Sian Kaan biosphere tour. It had some nice moments (dolphins, sea turtle, crocodile and flying fish) so definitely not a disappointment! However, not all things were communicated well. For example, I was told we'd have breakfast in Tulum but we didn't get anything to eat until 11am arriving at Punta Allen. It was one small sandwich... Lunch wasn't super filling either (and I don't normally eat much lol). They also miscommunicated about the cost of the biosphere entry ($10 rather than $5). Minor thing but not everyone brings all their cash on a tour. We didn't get to swim with the dolphins or turtles, just a little snorkeling over a reef (but there's better ones at Cozumel or Akumal). The driver didn't speak English. If you're going solo, you might be a little bored. All in all, cool animals but not sure it was worth the $160 + $10, the endless bumpy road and being left hungry.

We booked an excursion to Chichen Itza with Amazing Tours through Ulysses T and his colleagues. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. With so many different tour agencies in PDC, it can be hard to make a choice. Our hotel was selling us the same excursion for double the price, and didn't give as much detail as Ulysses did to ensure we knew what to expect. The excursion itself was great, our tour guide was well versed on the areas we visited and made the tour engaging with his humour.
