This place is straight fire! Visiting from Toronto we know good Jamaican restaurants. We met Stephanie & husband are such a great owner/host! The food was absolutely delicious, must order the rasta pasta and the jerk chicken. The rum rush drink is so good. Unfortunately they ran out of patties but will be back to again to order.

OMG, first time at Rockas and was in food heaven. The flavors and freshness of the food is Amazing. Steph and Marvin are the ultimate hosts with the most and make you feel like family. They exemplify “one live” ! Run, don’t walk, if you haven’t been.

Found this little gem by watching youtube videos of: where to eat in Playa del Carmen. Never gonna regret my decision coming here. One of the top delicious food and friendly crew I’ve ever met in my life. I hope I can come back ine day. The chef and servers are so friendly like childhood friends. But in the time keeping it professional. Hard to combine this too but they make it happen. The meals had new tastes to me but enjoyed every bite of it and miss it still until today. It is a normal priced restaurant. But better give them tip, this crew deserves every dollar and more. The place is small, so better choose your dining or lunch time wisely before they ran put of place. They have a good selection of beers, tequila, mezcal and cocktails. The food is getting extreme attention and tastes like heaven. The sauces are pure miracle. I was able to talk to the chef and some of the servers quite a lot during my stay. If they see this review… then Csaba from Hungary wishes them the best in all things in life and health overall. Brofist to Roberto! Dont miss this place if you are in Carmen!

Foods great, vibe is great, music and liveliness and twinkling lights and coconut rum cocktails are great. Prices are good for portion sizes. You can tell this is a popular spot - there was a steady stream of people waiting from 5PM on!

We booked all inclusive at the reef 28 but we heard amazing things about this restaurant so we had to try it. The reviews were right - this place is amazing! All of the food is great - we had the jerk chicken, jerk tacos, and stew chicken. We were a group of 3 from Toronto and we have had jerk chicken everywhere (including Jamaica) and this food really is 10/10. One of the owners Stephanie came over to chat with us during our meal and she made us feel really welcome. Thank you Stephanie! We will be back for this amazing food. Everyone should come here during this trip to playa del Carmen for authentic Jamaican.

This is the best restaurant in Playa del carmen. The food is delicious, exquisite. It's so good that I've been there 3 times in a week. If it's your first time there, try the jerk chicken, it's my favorite. The staff is very nice. The cocktails are delicious. The barman is very good. If you wanna go there after 7pm, I recommend you to make a reservation. The restaurant will be full quickly.

We went here on recommendation from our friends that went a few weeks before us and the numerous excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. What can I say... EXCELLENT! The service is quick and the customer service is outstanding. We were able to meet the owner, who came by to personally welcome us. The food was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. If you can get here when in Mexico, please go. You will have a 5-Star experience.

AMAZING restaurant!!! Food, flavour and vibes were fantastic from the moment we arrived. I recommend making a reservation through Instagram as this place gets super busy and customers are willing to wait for a table. The owners run the show and give a personal touch to every diner seated. Flavour explosions with every bite and the food came out within a reasonable time and great temperature. Will definitely be back for more!
