My experience as an entrepreneur is unfortunate, the place suffered an assault for which the owner was not responsible, she only organized a raffle with products donated by the exhibitors who were NOT affected, my loss was more than $40,000 and only 18% was returned to me ( thanks to the donation) the owner offered that we not pay only one month's rent to those affected (9 brands) as there was no product available, I asked her to change my money order to handbags and when I handed them over, as it was already 6 o'clock, she told me that she would check them the next day I left my inventory on a sheet and arranged the product, on my next visit a bag was already missing which the employee said I never delivered but that she would see it with the owner, on the next visit a month later (I went on a trip ) had not informed the owner and obviously they were not responsible, another loss of $1000. In December I told him that I would leave the showroom and that I would pick up my things on Monday, I would already have to travel because my grandmother was in her last days, she replied that she would not open that day due to a change of location but that it would happen the next day, no I was able to do it since I had to travel as an emergency, two days after my rent was due, she called me to tell me that my things were safe and she was worried that they would be damaged, I told her no problem, I'll pay you for the month, to which she replied, of course ! Only now it is $850 (I paid $400) I deposited it, in January I told him that I would pick up my product, he gives me an appointment and when I arrive for my product the manager tells me yes, take it, when telling him to check it, he had a missing $850 I took out $200 that the owner had left me from a sale, it took me more than 1:30 because the owner checked and checked and reluctantly transferred me because I told her that I would not go without the money. It is unfortunate that they take advantage of the fact that Playa is a small place and there are not many options to expose new brands and many entrepreneurs put up with mistreatment for selling.
