★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice spot for breakfast (they are open all day long though) with very present garden outdoor seating area. Apart from granola (few pieces of fruits with tiny portion of granola and yogurt served in a flat bowl, which made it difficult to eat; bowl would be better IMHO), we were satisfied with vegetarian sandwich and sweet bread set (which was basically croissant with condiments).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Split an order of Eggs Benedict and hot cakes (a.k.a. pancakes) at this small restaurant hidden behind the stage in Parque de Santa Ana. Would especially recommend the Eggs Benedict and be sure to order a green juice (containing, among other things, nopal cactus) on the side!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small restaurant hidden in the park but is one of those hidden gems of Merida. We came back time and time again. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food tasted great. Everything is clean. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice breakfast place. Food is good and the service is friendly. The absolute star of the breakfast menu is the "green juice" though. We went through the first one so quickly, we had to order another.
It is tasty, full of great ingredients, and rich (nothing watered down).
The breakfast portions are big, so you won't leave hungry. What would really lift Rosa Sur 32 to the next level is their coffee-game; their cappuccinos are straight from a machine and that is glaringly obvious. With a nice barista, this place could really shine :).
