The good: great hotel location, wonderful staff, (hi Cesar!) good food, great beach, beautiful rooms. Overall I recommend it. To be improved : The entertainment. Apart from the circus night and the Mexican night we almost had nothing going on. 45 star hotel it is very disappointing. Most of the activities are at an extra cost which is ridiculous because it’s an all inclusive. The bad : Diamond club. By having this two tier system with a diamond club and the regular people, it gives the impression that if you’re not in the diamond club you’re have to pay extra for everything else. It’s still a five-star hotel and yet you feel like a second class citizen because you didn’t join in the club, even though it’s all inclusive and you paid good money for your trip. No diamond club means no coconuts, no rooftop restaurant…

Just got back from the Royalton Chic Hotel, what a horrible experience. I visited Cancun around 5 times and never experienced such bad service, food and drinks. I think people who gave good reviews don’t really travel that much or just don’t know better. The quality and the preparation of the food was low quality , most of the time it was inedible. The breakfast wasn’t that bad because of the egg options. All the juices were made from powdered substance (fake), so I could not enjoy my cocktails. The Alcohol you get is not the same alcohol you get in the States. The hotel itself is very fabulous, chic and the rooms are nice. The pools are small and the entertainment is mediocre. It’s expensive to stay at this hotel, it was 4 of us so we booked a suite so I felt I got robbed from my experience. I was looking forward to enjoy my weekend with my friends but this put a damper on things. If you want to have an amazing trip, don’t stay here. There are so many other great hotels on the strip!!

Had a very nice stay at this beautiful resort. I found the room, the view, the food, the location, and the staff all very, very nice. 5 stars. Better food than at several of the other all-inclusive hotels I have stayed. 4 and 1/2 stars. In fact, I would have rated the Royalton Chic 5 stars overall, if not for the bed. Actually, just the pillows. There were several, but all were too thick and firm, and seemingly cheap pillows. I tried housekeeping, but there was nothing they could offer that I didn't already have. It may seem petty, but it made sleep difficult at best.

Amazing. Amazing. A great all-inclusive. Great food. Excellent service. Simply beautiful. Our butlers Eduardo and Liliana are not only *fantastic*, but also amazing souls. I’m so thoroughly thrilled with my vacation ? (they DO need to fix the elevators. The left and right sides are not networked together, so everyone hits both sides, and makes the already-not-enough elevators twice as slow. That’s the only negative. Still well worth it!!)

Beautiful beautiful beach. Just a few moments walk from resort. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing! Everything is modern and very clean. Short walk to shopping area outside of resort. I personally didn’t find that the Diamond club was worth paying extra for but a lot of people do choose to. We still had an amazing time without it! Would come back here

I had a wonderful time all of the staff was friendly from Henry at the door to Sandra our butler she was the best. Edgar was also amazing he worked in the diamond area he treated me like family he was very genuine and polite. Gabino was very kind and attentive he was always smiling and happy. I'm sure I'm missing a few people but the staff truly made my stay worth it. My room was amazing only down fall would be that when I ordered room service (only dinner) it came cold and or old the breakfast was pretty good. But the sky bar had amazing food and the have a huge buffet. The food at the grill was super fresh and good. The salsa at the bar restaurant was thee best. Great selection of souvenirs at the shops and very affordable.. I have them a 5 because 4.75 wasn't available.

Stayed at Royalton Chic late January 2022 for a birthday getaway. Overall the hotel was fantastic, beautiful views, great friendly staff, amazing beach and facilities. Our butler Teresita was fantastic, very helpful and sweet. The diamond club rooms are very spacious and the bed is large and comfortable. Food and drink selection was great. The buffet was fantastic with a huge variety of cuisines and different options every day. The only restaurant that we didn't enjoy too much was the Agave restaurant, we found the buffet Mexican food more varied and flavoursome. Cocktails are slightly on the sweet side however the bar staff will make drinks to your requirements. I also recommend bringing your own straw as they don't provide due to environmental reasons. Entertainment was great, every evening they have different shows/music. There were a few things that could be improved to fit a 5* experience: - Pillows were not up to par, they were flat and not comfortable compared to the bed - Room often had a sulphurous smell which I assume is from the water system - Towels and bedding often felt damp - Only 5 lifts for the entire building of 16 floors, some of which had water leaks when it rained so they didn't work, making it a challenge to get around the hotel

I loved this hotel, but I will add the caveats that you might want to consider while staying here. I'd consider this place a semi party to party hotel. I came with a bunch of girlfriends so we had a great time! They play music at the pool and there's a little club on the 3rd floor, but only goes until midnight. I didn't make it to Level 18 because we had excusions planned during the days and it's not open at night, so keep that in mind when planning. The diamond club might had been worth it if we spent all our vacation at the hotel, but since we didn't, I wouldn't recommend. The food wasn't too bad - I had some steak from steakhouse and it was decent (not mind blowing) but still good flavor. The buffet was good too - lots of stations for everything. If you're going to get room service, consider that the snacks will be small portions (maybe order 2). The drinks were great. You can literally order anything you want, but nothing top shelf unless you want to pay more. The service was great - everyone was really helpful and nice. The rooms were super cute! A great view of the water if you get a beach facing view and the beds and pillows were fine. Overall, great trip! I'd definitely come here again and really just stay at the hotel and enjoy the proximity of the beach and great swim up bar.
