Terrible experience. I went to dinner today and we were served by a waitress, who had bad treatment from the beginning. At dessert time, I asked her for some plantains and she said they would take more than 35 minutes to make, so I decided better not to order them. When we asked for the bill we left $2,500.00 (from a bill of $1,800 already with tip included) and they gave us the wrong change. I got up from the table to go get the manager and told him that the change was wrong and that he should send me to the waitress. The manager told me that she was in the bathroom so I decided to wait for her to come out of the bathroom. 15 minutes passed and the waitress did not come out. I went back to the manager to ask him what had happened to the waitress and he told me that she was still in the bathroom. And he told me that in his cash register there were only 4 $500 bills. The waitress never came out of the bathroom and hid the entire time. The manager then told us that it was the waitress's first day. It seems that the waitress nailed 500 pesos that she never put in the cash register and that is why she hid in the bathroom for more than 20 minutes. They did not give me any solution and the waitress never left the bathroom. I will never go back to any Ruben's. They did nothing to resolve my issue. Not even trying to get the waitress out of the bathroom to show her face. I do not recommend going to that place at all. They lack honesty and try to take advantage of the customer.

We ordered 6 burgers and 2 full orders of fries to go, reasonable wait time (10-15 minutes, with few diners in the restaurant). The sirloin cheeseburgers are very tasty and well cooked. French fries and curly with very good flavor. They send enough condiments separately. Very friendly and helpful staff.

TERRIBLE SERVICE. When you arrive they only accompany you to your table, they take your order and they NEVER appear again, but everything has a reason and it is because THEY CHARGE YOUR TIP directly in the bill without breaking down anything, only the final amount, as they take for granted that you will pay that amount for that reason its lousy quality of service. The food is not bad, but the price-quality ratio leaves something to be desired.
