Muchas de.las estructuras tanto de los mayas como de la época del henequen atrapadas en los colonos urbanos son un punto medular para conocer nuestra historia local que se encuentra callada, derruyendose con el paso del desarrollo urbano, el tiempo y el olvido en la memoria de la poblacion. Tiene tantas cosas q ofrecer el estado no solo a la gente local sino también foránea. También es triste ver q el mismo gobierno patrocina la adquisición de las fincas o haciendas, al mismo tiempo de adquirirlas para su beneficio monetario sin retribuir nada a la sociedad borrando de esta manera nuestras raíces e identidad.
