★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Se construyó a mediados del siglo XVIII para conectar la ciudad de Acámbaro con el camino real a Celaya, sin embargo, el entonces fuerte cauce del Río Lerma lo destruyó varios años más tarde, lo que dió inicio a la construcción de un segundo puente de piedra, mismo que se terminaría a fines del siglo XVIII, obra arquitectónica que se mantiene en pie hoy en día.
Se puede encontrar aproximadamente a cien metros río abajo del actual Puente de Piedra de Acámbaro.
Sinceramente podría estar en mejores condiciones.
