V	Vanessa Mills on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a newly developed rv park just outside of the main town of Chapala. I'd rate it 5 stars but as it is still in development, there are no facilities yet. They are currently building a bathroom and shower area and are planning on having a laundry area near the restrooms. There are dogs at the house next door and they bark at everything, all night long... Other than that, the place is small. There are spaces for 8 large rigs 35-40 ft and two for smaller rigs under 24ft. As the grounds continue development there may be added spaces. The views are pretty spectacular, you can see the city of Guadalajara from the RV park. Dogs must be leashed, wifi is pretty good.

The owners treat you more like family than guests of the park with conscience and attentive service in every way. The park is new and is continually improving in it's development. There are a few trailers. Some are more permanent and residents stay year round and some are temporary guests staying only a few nights. Your feedback and opinions are valued here as they aim to please. I'm thankful to have met these people, seen this place and I will certainly be back!

Beautiful views, the owner Alma is very kind and helpful and has put thoughtful amenities for weary travellers. From the big well stocked showers, large washing machine and clotheslines the stay is lovely. The pads are packed gravel and level. The closest town is a 3 min drive with everything you'll need. The drive up is cobblestone so it's a slow go but not very far. Will definitely return. Thanks Alma and Francesco

J	Jim Brooks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are looking for a rv park that have amenities anywhere close to what you would expect from a state side rv park then RV Trailer Park Chapala is for you! The campground is absolutely up to U.S standards. I used a digital Surge protector and the line voltage stayed at 120v every time I checked it. 20, 30 Amp and 50 Amp are available at all pedestals. Plenty of water pressure also. Sites are level and large. I never used the bath house but looks extremely clean and new. We were even given a remote control for the electric gate. Our hardest decision on leaving was finding any other campground being this nice and secure. The view looking over Guadalajara is simply amazing at night. Alma and Francisco was truly a delight to talk to and get to know. Oh...I was greeted upon arrival after a long day of driving with a cold beer also! Regards: Jim Brooks
W	Wendy Davies on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at this park for 6 weeks and it is easy to live here. The climate had hot days and cool nights. The bathroom/shower area were clean with hot water and pressure. The washing machine was large. The wifi was quite good and depended on how many were using it. The tarazza had its own wifi link and was a quiet place to work. The remote controlled gate provided good security. The views to the north were wonderful in the day and at night. Some people stay here long term while others pass through. It was like a hostel stay in that you could find out where others had been and where they were going next. The RV park is close to an ATM, gas station, shopping, hardware store and restaurant. (2km) as well as a Sunday market. Lake Chapala is about 15 minutes by car. The Guadalajara airport is 25 minutes.
