★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and cocktails. Right next to Salina hostel where you can pop over for more drinks after. We didn’t need a reservation which was also really handy as we popped in impromptu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pork belly in a mole (made with fresh fruit) was fantastic, but the best thing we had was the aguachile de camaron. Fresh, lightly sweet, perfectly tart, and yummy shrimp - the best way to beat the heat. We also tried their non traditional take on Nicuatole for dessert, with coconut, fresh fruit, candied nuts, and an apple and pear sauce - so delicious, and not too sweet (which we found to be not common in Mexico)!
And of course, they're known for their mezcal cocktails which were excellent, although I would have liked them to be a bit less sweet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The cocktails were great, but food was way below expectations. Fish ceviche was served with way too much black pepper and vegetable salad was only greens with few beans and fried tortillas in an extremely salty dressing. Would not recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ From the decor to the service, everything is done with detail without being too much. Very good welcoming and easygoing place. It's know for its mezcal and cocktails, that I didn't try. But, I had a joyful vegetarian meal with non-alcoholic lemonade. Was pretty a good time here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for some mezcal tasting while visiting Oaxaca. Had 2 flights with 3 different mezcals each. Great, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Good laid back vibes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best, maybe even THE best mezcal cocktail bar in Central Oaxaca. We were grateful to stumble across this bar on the first night and almost came back every night for a week because the drinks were delicious. We tried the Pequeño Gigante, Jamaicón and Guayabo Verde multiple times, as well as various mezcals and Mexican gins - the Guayabo Verde cocktail was my favorite because it's super refreshing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best places I tried out in Oaxaca.. I truly enjoyed everything I had here. The drinks and food were prepared deliciously. The bar tenders are very friendly and they could give you some good recommendations on bars to try out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Imagine yourself on a Friday night, and you decide to try and get into one of the top 50 bars in the world around 6PM. It's dead. You're excited. You order a cocktail, and it's just everything you hoped for from a renowned bar. You move over to the appetizers, ceviche, tartar, and enjoy mouth watering goodness in every bite. You pause for a moment and converse, hard to focus because of the euphoric symphony of flavors that have run through your tongue these past several minutes. You eye the main course as it gets served your way, being carried like the delicious burger you anticipate it to be. The bacon burger with BBQ sauce is in front of you, you bite, and the bread crumbles. There was not a sphere of fluffiness that you would expect from your burger bun. You eat it in disappointment, but the meal isn't over. Round 3 appears, another highly anticipated meal to enjoy, and the corn cake you get is again, simply put, not moist. The worst version of a baked good. But not all was lost; the gluten-free options were exceptional, so 4 ya tu sabes.
