★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Whoa, keep it in secret, you don't want the world know and come over here, and crowd this place, very relaxing place just where the bacalar rapids ends,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even after multiple rounds of heavy rains these past few days, this part of the lake retained its clear waters. I could even see little translucent fish swimming alongside me.
Everywhere else we went in Bacalar, the lake looked like a brownish green color - locals voiced concerns that the “seven colors” might never return due to many factors including growing tourism (and in effect, declining stromatolites and snails which eat organic matter) as well as public sewage issues.... It seems, at least here (and nearby at Los Rapidos), that’s not the case!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lagoon is beautiful almost everywhere, but usually it's quite expensive to access the water. At Sac-Ha though, the prices are reasonable, staff friendly and you can bring your own food and drinks. It's a really nice place to spend a few hours.
The negatives are about the guests. It is clearly signposted to not step on the fragile and rare stromatolites... They're even fenced off! Please keep yourself and your kids off them! Also, picking up your own trash should be a given by now...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sac-ha beach is a hidden gem. Come here if you don’t want to be around tons of tourists, and just relax and take a dip in the clear bacalar waters. Just don’t tell anyone else about this spot or else it’ll become another tourist trap….

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The water is cristal clear. It's a very beautiful place. Was only 40 pesos to get in. And the palapas are 100. I love this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place. The only reason I don't give 5 Stars is because nobody of the stuff was around all day. So just when I wanted to leave some people came to rent a kayak, they managed that one guy showed up. I know other people wanted to rent a kayak as well and left because nobody was around. Other then that it's just a beautiful spot which was at least today peaceful and just perfect.
