 Very good food, the appetizers are small but the main dishes are big. Very cool to go see the sunset.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saffron Thai restaurant is a staple in all the Banyan Tree Resorts around the world. They serve high quality delicious authentic Thai cuisine. They are so particular that they would grow their own herbs in order to deliver authentic Thai flavors to the dishes at this Acapulco resort.
This Saffron is situated on the side of a cliff with an excellent view of the ocean and a spectacular position to watch the sunset. Make sure you go there 30mins before sunset to enjoy fully. Also sometimes it can get a little windy.
In terms of pricing, it is considered a higher priced restaurant but the food speaks for itself. The curries are amazing and together with the generous serving of different flavors of rice, you can get quite full.
Overall if you have any celebrations or want to have some quality Thai cuisine, I would highly recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Thai food restaurant located within the Banyan Tree Resort. The restaurant prides itself with breathtaking views of Acapulco and its bay. We had a wonderful time and delicious food. We couldn’t miss their original Pad Thai plate served with tofu, prawn, rice noodles and soy weed. We also had their dumplings as an appetizer and were very pleased with the texture as well as the flavor. Be prepared to spend some money as prices here are on the steep side. However the overall experience was worth it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen so reservations should be made around 18-18:30 hrs in order to appreciate that. Food was pretty good, not cheap but worth it for the taste and size of the portions (some dishes must be shared). Friendly and fast service. Cozy and romantic setting.
