This is so disappointing to write. I have always been a true fan of YSL and own multiple items. Let me start off by making it VERY clear i did not need to be sold on a handbag, i came in with every intention on purchasing one. My experience at this store was not what the brand embodies (hopefully). I was looking SO forward to purchasing a handbag. I’m not sure if it’s because the workers didn’t think I “looked” like I was going to make a purchase or if it was because they were having a bad day but over all my opinion on YSL has changed. I tried on multiple bags with no help from anyone—in fact I was given looks of “annoyance” for touching the bags. Forgive me but if I am spending 1500+ on a bag I want to touch it, try it on and make sure I love it. I asked for a specific color to which his reply was “you can order it online”. As someone who works in sales I’m confused why he didn’t offer to look up the item for me internally to order and have shipped to my home? Did he not want to make a sale? Super disappointing with the lack of customer service. I left the store sad, disappointed and honestly confused as to why my favorite brand made my experience SO uncomfortable (which it wasn’t even close to closing time). I then walked into Gucci where I was greeted with smiles, water and tons of help. I ended up buying my 3500 handbag at Gucci instead. Word to the wise, don’t judge someone by the way they look. I hope the general manger and AGM of this store take this review as an opportunity to train their employees correctly on etiquette. Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. I’m sad to say my relationship with YSL has ended over this disappointing experience. I can’t stand by a company who treats their customers lesser than by the way they look. Buying a luxury handbag should be a special experience not an uncomfortable one. The words I live by are “no ones better than you, but you’re better than no one”, feel free to take a page out of my book. Skip this store and head to Gucci instead. And to the employee who made me feel this way, your gold rim glasses were awesome but hopefully you don’t let this job get to your head.

This was such a disappointing experience shopping at this store. We shopped YSL in Barcelona and had an amazing customer experience. The customer experience at this store was nearly non existent. My wife and I felt like we were judged the minute we stepped in the door and weren't dressed the part. We had every intention of buying and yet were greeted with annoyance. My wife constantly felt that we were being dismissed. She actively sought the input of a sales representative and was consistently met with short answers and no help. We found some sunglasses on our own that she liked. The final straw was when the glasses were marked a certain price and they would not honor the price they were marked. They basically said take it or leave it- there was a price increase just because. We know this is not the way the brand is intended to be represented but here at this store they are rude, pretentious and cannot really be bothered with helping you at all. If it weren't for me loving some sunglasses, we would have left empty handed. We were in the mood to shop and they lost money because of how we were treated. We were incredibly disappointed. Will not return and do not recommend.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have. I stopped by the store to purchase a bag. There were 3 customers in the store and as I stood outside on line waiting my turn Victor opened the door and said "this is the entrance but we have customers so you have to wait!" I replied to him that I understood the wait but his tone and delivery was disrespectful and I will take my money elsewhere. I did wait to speak to someone inside to let them know what happened and to get a business card so I could send an email complaint to management.

Horrible experience. Bought a brand new handbag for over $2500. Got back to US and wanted to wear it. Noticed in outdoor lighting this defect. Tried to have them exchange for nondefective bag. Said no that was not possible since the defect was due to use. Again, I hadn’t even used the bag. Will never buy a YSL bag or item ever again. Will stick with Gucci!
