Saisho Original Teppanyaki - 82110 Mazatlán

Me lo recomendaron; PERO a la hr. de querer hacer una reservación, sacaron el cobre extorsionador de que un consumo mínimo “x” por persona y sin siquiera saber cuál es su oferta de alimentos y bebidas. Pésima atención para simplemente hacer una reserva y poder conocer el lugar y oferta. Lo bueno es que en la CDMX y otros destinos turísticos existen muchísimas ofertas diversas y seguramente de mejor calidad que estos que ni en servicio fueron educados y capacitados. Con ese pésimo servicio no creo que duren más de 12 meses.

El lugar de comida japonesa que a mazatlan le hacía falta. Excelente atención de parte de todo el personal, especialmente el barman y el chef, quien nos aclaro todas las dudas respecto a los cortes de pescado que estábamos probando. Todos los platillos con una presentación genuinamente bella y llena de detalles. Los cortes de pescado frescos y deliciosos. La mezcalita de mango super recomendada!! La decoración del lugar es bastante agradable y tiene un espejo en la barra que te permite ver lo que están haciendo los chefs de barra fría, lo cual es bastante entretenido. Recomendación para los visitantes: si quieren mesa de tepanyaki hablen y reserven ya que solo tienen 2 mesas disponibles y tienen horario, por lo que no es posible sentarse ahí a menos que tengas reservacion.

Deliciosame extraordinario. Muy rico y atención excelente alimentos de mucha calidad. Un lugar muy recomendable .

Our waitress was great, the general manager however made the experience horrible. We had a table of six, and one member of our party found hairs in her food. Food was not remade & the general manager persisted on not removing the item from our bill after we respectfully asked. He was very rude and lacked professionalism, he only removed the item from the bill after realizing our member had taken a photo of the hairs. Very unhygienic and unprofessional. I understand these issues can occur in any restaurant but the manner that this was resolved was very inappropriate. Manager also never apologized for the inconvenience. There’s plenty of options for better sushi in mazatlan, do not waste your money here.

Saisho is such a welcome addition to the Golden Zone. If you want an extra special dinner, book the Hibachi table. There is a minimum spend of sorts, but a meal is essentially going to cover it anyway. You can book the table with as little as 2 people, but may be asked to share if another small reservation comes in at the same time. Their cocktails to start are extremely unique and can be made table-side with their bar cart. I especially loved the “Fresh Spicy”, which was both spicy and sweet at the same time. Incredible flavour. We ordered nigiri of tuna cheek to start, and followed up with teppanyaki salmon and rib eye done on the hibachi. Lots of sauces on the table. Of course, the ‘show’ part of dinner is really fun and interactive. Knife skills, fire volcanos, etc. We even got these little pine boxes to drink saki out of that were really cute and unique. Tasty food, great ambience, and lovely service. Will be back for sure.

We love Teppanyaki and always try to find it wherever we travel. Our first time to Mazatlan and we discovered Saisho! Was fabulous, great service, great food. We had the filet steak and prawns with fried rice. This was as good as we have had anywhere. The rice was our favorite and the steak melt in your mouth. Our Chef so fun and Manager awesome. Thanks for a great dinner ?
