★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hamburguesa de camarones is to die for. Been to this place multiple times, the food is amazing, sadly the service is slow - slower than the average in this country. Easy been waiting for the food for 1h before. Worth the wait though!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ate here a few times during my 3 week stay. Food is always good and portions are huge. Had the shrimp and garlic which came with salad, rice. Another time garlic chicken and shrimp cocteles. Chicken dry but was good.
The service is slow but that’s to be expected in Zipolite. 30-45 mins for food to arrive .. so snack on some tostada or ask for some crackers if you’re hangry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had lunch here and were quite disappointed given the reviews we saw. We didn’t order the notorious burgers but had seafood. The waiter recommended shrimps which were supposed to be jumbo ones (big sized) - we got tiny ones, not fresh and very difficult to peel. Also, the staff could have been a lot nicer and more welcoming. I’d certainly pick a different place next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went twice. Very large portions! The first time, the beef patty was well overcooked and beers were slightly warm. We were seated at a pretty bad table (so consider to ask/wait for a beachside table), and the service was a little slow. The second time, everything was flawless which is why we end up with five stars. Definitely one of the best places in town when it comes to atmosphere (they have candles and very good 60+ pesos drinks. We paid around 500 pesos for two burgers, 1-2 beers and 3-4 drinks, and we were so full.
