Before relocated to Puerto Vallarta I search fo.r the best hair extension salon through Google and found Salon Amin Lenz. I communicated with the owner & set up a consultation before my arrival into PV. He's a specialist in the Brazilian Knot process. I've had type of extensions which caused traction alopecia. I finally have in & bought the overpriced halos from Luxy/Glam. once we agreed upon how much hair will be needed for the most part it would be two packets which would be 200 g if you have medium to thinner hair. deposit was provided before the hair was ordered and a week later the hair arrived. The installation process was pretty intense (and I have a very high threshold for pain for beauty). I would not recommend this for anyone with a sensitive scalp. The quality of the hair was phenomenal it didn't have the silicone coating which makes the hair initially soft and it was real virgin bulk hair with cuticles flat from one donor. Because the extensions are so new and really close to your scalp there's some pulling and you'll be ? uncomfortable for about 3 to 4 days. I wanted to pull out each of the extensions but I waited until a few days later and the pain went away. You can shower wash your hair go into the pool go into the ocean and there is no damage like other extensions. The hair can last up to a year maybe longer and reinstallation is between 3 to 5 months I guess it depends on the person's hair growth cycle. Be prepared to show photos of your preference. All in all the installation took 3.5 hours. The only thing I wish I could have communicated was to blend my own hair into the extensions. Regardless the hair quality is this the best I've done across. I 100% recommend this service but there's a language barrier so try to bring a friend who can translate. Thank you Salon Amin Lenz!!

Got a hair cut and beard trimmed. Loved results. The owner (?) was pleasant and did a great job. Warning though - they are NOT 24 hours - and they seem closed a lot. The best time, is mid to late afternoon. I'd go back.
