I been to several Japanese Restaurants while in the USA and this is BY FAR THE BEST. The food is well seasoned and it's cooked to perfection! No complaints here, I wish they cooked like this back home.

We ordered salmon and tuna sashimi, teppanyaki, chicken-fries, tempura ice cream. I liked sashimi and teppanyaki. Food is average quality. A lot of families come here, so better visit here early.

The decor was beautiful, and the service was good, but the food was not in line with my past experiences with Japanese cuisine. Neither from Japanese restaurants across Canada, nor the food I had while in Japan. Oh, first time I've had lemon juice soy sauce too(?). While the food wasn't terrible, it also wasn't similar to some of the staged photos uploaded here. I suspect either the menu or maybe the chefs, has changed since this establishment had their Google My Business page initially populated with professional photography. However, I don't judge my experience in Mexico by the quality of the Japanese food, and so Samurai was a welcome change in pace the night we ate here, but won't be the positive experience that we look back to reminisce about our trip either.

This was the best and most organized restaurant in the Seadust hotel. The atmosphere is nice and the service was excellent. First time we had the spring rolls and chicken tempura for appetizers. My wife liked the spring rolls (they're not sushi) but I did not (they're not an egg roll either). We both liked the chicken tempura. Second time we had the chicken and beef kabobs which were both excellently seasoned and cooked. Wish we did double orders of those. The salads were a joke. I gave my wife the two avocados rolled in a slice of cucumber for the four sprigs of lettuce on her plate. My wife had shrimp and fried rice and I had a combo of shrimp and sirloin. Nicely seasoned, nicely cooked, good portion but only a tiny scoop of fried rice that was average.

To call their food sushi is a far stretch. The nigiri and sashimi was cut razor thin and the coloring was totally off. Taste was just plain bad. I saw other pictures of their sushi from earlier reviews and can only assume these products came from different kitchens. The noodles and shrimp teppanyaki were quite good. My rating is purely based on the awful fish they call sushi.
